YOUR IMPACT:


Responsible for on-time & accurate completion of journal processing & reconciliations for the team. Ensure key pre-checks are completed & validated before the month close to ensure no financial misstatements. You will be responsible to coach team members to Independently resolve customer queries. Overall, oversight of all complex entities managed by junior team members, ensuring agreed checks & reviews are completed, including Audit queries.


WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS:


  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.


  • Ensure adequate Interventions are made to have updated Training module/SOPs.


  • Ensure Training gaps are identified and resolved immediately.


  • Monitor Process improvement projects & provide updates to management on the status.


  • Build Pro-active measures to address repeat errors/High Risk items.


  • Lead management reporting, KPI and Operations Review requirements.


  • Ability to act as a change leader; able to highlight risks and recommend solutions.


  • Evidence of building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders acting as a trusted business advisor.


  • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.


  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting during these critical periods.


  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.


  • Knowledge of US GAAP accounting standards required


WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:


  • First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree and/or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) strongly preferred.


  • Typically, 10-12 years of experience in a Finance function or exhibiting an exceptionally strong background in some other relevant and applicable area of business.


  • May have experience in more than one finance function.


  • Experience of handling projects on process improvements.


  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to team members.


  • Experience of Defining, Reporting, analysing and enhancing the Metrics
