General Summary:

As a Qualcomm Systems Engineer, you will research, design, develop, simulate, and/or validate systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions that enables the development of cutting-edge technology. Qualcomm Systems Engineers collaborate across functional teams to meet and exceed system-level requirements and standards.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 4+ years’ experience designing & developing high quality software using OO technology & design patterns
- 4+ years’ experience with Programming and Debugging in C, C++
- 2+ years' experience with Object-Oriented High-Performance Python development
- 2+ years’ experience with application of ML algorithms to solve problems
- Proven expertise in development and debugging tools such as gdb, VS, Jupyter notebook
- In depth understanding of algorithms, data structure, embedded software architecture
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts (e.g. bridging, routing), especially on Linux
- 1+ experience in mentoring and leading junior engineers
- Demonstrated experience in understanding legacy software systems and collaborating with cross functional teams during software development lifecycle
Level of Responsibility:
• Works independently with minimal supervision.
• Decision-making may affect work beyond immediate work group.
