Responsibilities • Design and implementation of scalable and maintainable automated test frameworks using Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, etc. • Develop, and maintain automated test suites for web applications and RESTful APIs. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define automation strategies, standards, and best practices. • Mentor junior automation engineers, provide technical guidance, and promote knowledge sharing within the team. • Conduct code reviews, identify opportunities for improvement, and advocate for automated testing throughout the SDLC. • Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report on test failures and defects to ensure quick resolution. • Integrate automated tests into continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for efficient and reliable testing and deployment. • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in test automation and implement them as appropriate. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. 6+ years of proven experience as a Java Automation Engineer or similar role in a software development environment. Expertise in Java programming language and proficiency in object-oriented design principles. Strong hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, etc. Deep understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web services (RESTful APIs). Experience in designing and implementing scalable and reusable automated testing solutions from scratch. Solid knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle). Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test documentation. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail. Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively lead projects and collaborate within a team
