Client Account Services Change and Strategy team is looking for a passionate Senior Data Analyst to support our multi-year data strategy.
As a Lead Data Analyst Senior Associate in Operations you will systematically collect, process, and performs analyses on large data sets. You will turn data into information and information into insights to help drive business decision.
Job responsibilities
- Cleans and prepares data: this involves filtering data, handling missing values, and preparing the dataset for analysis to ensure accuracy and relevance
- Explores and analyses data: uses digital tools and techniques to explore and analyse data, identifies patterns, relationships, and trends
- Delivers data for multiple large complex strategic programmes and Identify ways to automate data readiness in partnership with product owner(s) and technology
- Creates visual representations of data findings through charts, graphs, and dashboards to make the data understandable at a glance
- Analyses quality of critical data elements and works with data owners and / or tech partners to ensure data is ‘fit-for-purpose’
- Prepares presentations to communicate the insights and findings from the data to project lead and stakeholders, which can influence decision-making processes
- Works with other departments to understand their data needs and help them make informed decisions based on data insights.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Previous experience in mining large datasets as a data analyst
- Draw valid inferences and present them to management leveraging appropriate tools
- Exceptional analytical abilities to compile, structure, examine, and present large complex data sets with precision and thoroughness
- Strong Alteryx and tableau skills, with aptitude for learning other analytics tools
- Good communication and presentation skills to simplify complex data insights for audiences without a technical background
- Self-starter, able to work autonomously, with strong time management skills; efficient at multi-tasking to deliver on-time, to a high standard
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Adept at report writing and presenting findings
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- A deep understanding of the industry and business operations is a plus
