Lead, Corporate Actuarial
Gurgaon, Haryana India


Work closely with the actuarial team and take part in various analytical projects. The team conceptualizes designs and develops innovative MI (management information) reports for senior management. Ownership of data for any analysis lies with the team; so the team members are extremely proficient in handling large databases and creating and maintaining databases. One of the core objectives of the team is to design and automate manual processes using the latest technologies. With a high level of technical expertise enhanced with actuarial and financial knowledge, the team delivers high-end analytical answers.

·Ownership of end-to-end close and data processes required for undiscounted and discounted booking process.


·Defining and overseeing internal controls


·Reporting and communicating the booking results to variety of stakeholders.


·Manage a team of 5 people.


·Oversee the development and maintenance of complex data mappings that impact actuarial and finance data.


·Partner with other data stakeholders to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.


You will report to Head of Data and close, Corporate Actuarial.

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:


Required Skills and Abilities:


·Post-graduate having graduated from (B.E./B Tech/CS/IT/BSc). Masters ideally.


·Relevant work experience preferably in the Insurance industry, financial services or consultancy with a minimum of 14 years experience.


·Understand computer application skills like SQL, Excel, Visual Basics Application, PowerBI, Qlikview, Python and/or R.


·Excellent analytical, research and problem-solving skills


Desired Skills and Abilities:


·Robust computer application skills, specifically Excel, Access, and Visual Basic Applications.


·Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.


·Keen attention to detail.


·Outstanding oral and written communications skills
