Introduction to Role:
Join us at a crucial stage of our journey in becoming a digital and data-led enterprise. As the Lead Consultant – Wireless Network, you will be supporting the Wireless Product Lead in shaping the future of Network technology architecture and embedding new products, processes, and standards for all aspects of the domain across AZ. You will own end-to-end product life/maturity cycle from Evaluation, Selection, Purchase, Design, Implement, Operate, Optimize and Retire. This role is a trusted advisor to senior leadership in the IT function, requiring strong influencing and interpersonal skills.
Accountabilities:
You will actively own and lead the technical vision to success through partnering with various solution product owners, Process owners, Business/ BTGs and Enterprise Architects and external vendors. You will provide strategic and thought leadership for how we can efficiently deliver modern wireless network capabilities. You will also be responsible for ensuring evergreen solution roadmaps that support ground-breaking change. Your role will involve vendor management along with other network product leads and actively involved in ensuring fully utilizing the product value.
Essential Skills/Experience:
CCIE or equivalent certification with Minimum 15 years of relevant working experience
Excellent communications skills
Demonstrated management experience of matrix and multicultural teams over several continents
Experience of formulating and implementing successful strategic plans in alignment with our security and sustainability strategy
Significant experience working with vendors, professional services, and providers
Understanding of network patterns and approaches
Must have in-depth and technical hands-on experience in SD-WAN, Wireless, Network Security
Strong technical knowledge in high availability design, implementation, optimization, and operations.
