Job Description
Primary functions and essential responsibilities
Project delivery:
Collaborate with Tech teams, implementation partners, and ourHRFunctional teams in this excitingjourney of continuous implementation, optimization, adoption, and embedding Workday and associated HR Systems for Ares Management.
At project inception, partner with functional leads to build business argument, articulate value and impact to the organization. Participate in prioritization discussions
Deploy new features (e.g. Workday Learning) in Workday and other HR technologies, lead discussions and documentationofrequirements with business users. Prototype solution design/configuration options for user review, develop test plans and user acceptance criteria for features, lead test phases. Collaborate on producing training materials, and support model for new system improvements.
Optimization/Ongoing implementation:
In Partnership with business functions in HR (Talent Management, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, etc.), facilitate discussions to understand and detail problems, process changes, and new functionality requests with users.
Proactive Solutioning - Monitor application releases, and review functionality for recommendation to functional teams, factoring business value, resource availability, and level of effort, when formulating recommendations.
Design and deploy new and enhanced functionality, including documentationofrequirements, test management, and communications to users and support teams.
Post Implementation Support:
Provide technical consultation to business partners and centers of expertise (CoEs) to enable their program vision
Find opportunities to improve HCM data quality, drive continuous improvements within the tech and functional teams o Provide support for Workday, including researching and resolvingcomplex Workday problems, unexpected results or process issues o Support users through training and guidance to drive user adoption o Maintain configuration & Support documentation
People Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
Support direct report(s) with guidance and coaching to develop technical skills and eyeforbusiness
Communicatewith partners changes to projects and initiatives including scope, priority, and timeline.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor’s degree orequivalent experience in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or Finance
Experience Required:
More than 7 years of relevant HRIS/HRIT experience with specific experience in the following functionalareas:

Payroll
Prior experience as a technical business analyst, understanding and documenting business requirements, compiling current and target state process flows; collaborating with technical resources to design, test, and implement changes
A minimum of 4 years of Workday HCM Administration experience o Strong capabilities across business process configuration, security administration, calc fields and reporting
People leadership, min 2 years experience preferred
Knowledge of SQL, Rest API / Integrations, and tools such as Visio, Jira, Confluence; Nice to have experience with BI (Power BI or Tableau) and Power Apps
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
Knowledge of Human Resources workflows and regulatory requirements
Knowledge of Agile project management methodology preferred
Prior experience with broader asset management preferred
