Purpose of the Role:


This is an opportunity to manage financial planning for Tech@Lilly LCCI Hyderabad team.

You will manage multiple high priorities requests from senior leaders, thrive under pressure and aren’t afraid to “manage up” when needed.


You will be responsible for managing financial operations and business planning for T@L LCCI Hyderabad. You will work closely with global portfolio finance manager and T@L LCCI Bangalore financial operations team.


The project work includes planning and coordinating with global portfolio finance managers, leadership team of Tech@Lilly LCCI and LCCI site finance team to ensure transparency and clarity in financial operations and annual business planning process. You will setup processes for chargebacks, HC and budget transfers across different teams in Lilly. You will be responsible for ensuring that all the key strategic priorities are funded and any deviations from the plan are duly reported and addressed.


You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing financial plans that support the company’s growth and transformation.


Responsibilities:


  • Owner of financial planning and operations for T@L LCCI Hyderabad
  • Assist and support T@L LCCI Hyderabad leaders to ensure sound financial decision-making that is in the long-term best interest of the organization
  • Accountable for leading and managing end to end financial planning, operations management, tracking, reporting and issue management in partnership with multiple local and global stakeholders.
  • Ensure T@L LCCI Hyderabad financial operations are compliant to global finance policies
  • Ensure collaboration with T@L LCCI Bangalore on financial operations, reporting, business planning.
  • Proactive planning, reporting and stakeholder management
  • Robust understanding of process, context and details to provide meaningful and actionable insights for informed decision making and proactive interventions
  • Collaborate with LCCI finance team to develop processes and reporting mechanisms for transfers and chargeback between different teams in LCCI
  • Actively manage the variances by re forecasting the plan for future months in collaboration with T@L LCCI leaders and global portfolio finance managers
  • Ensure proper utilization of allocated budget to LCCI by tracking overs and unders and reallocating resources as needed
  • Manage, track and report payments made to vendors for services provided e.g. consulting projects, staff augmentation support, other services
  • Develop tools & processes to track and report financial metrics to T@L LCCI leaders
  • Lead business planning process for all T@L LCCI functions to ensure that resources are allocated to meet the operational obligations and new strategic priorities of T@L LCCI
  • Work with LCCI finance and other functional teams to plan for their IT costs
  • Look for opportunities for simplification, automation and consolidation in financial operations

Qualifications:


  • MBA (finance) with a minimum 8 years working experiences in a matrix organization post degree.

Additional Information


  • This position is working at minimum 3 days/week in the LCCI office
  • Travel percentage: 0-10%
