The LCCI commercial – strategy and operations director role provide leadership, management, and vision necessary to facilitate transformation and execution across LCCI Commercial Services supporting Accelerating Reach and Scale (ARS) as a part of the Global Customer Office and supporting launches for LUSA, adhering to the U.S. Playbook to prioritize and simplify work. This will include supporting the leader with effective decision-making, project management, and execution of strategic initiatives across all capabilities of commercial services at LCCI. The individual is also responsible for streamlining high-importance projects and conducting leadership level internal and external initiatives that have significant impact on the function’s business objectives.

Strategic Leadership
- Spearhead and lead development, communication and implementation of transformation and strategic planning to deliver on business goal and objectives.
- Build and own metrics and accountability platform, evaluating progress regularly with leadership team to achieve their deliverable and win for the organization.
- Prepare and drive quarterly business reviews for reviewing key performance indicators of the function
- Review Internal and External Communications: drafting company newsletters, reports, pitch decks, speeches or presentations that support awareness and connectivity through LCCI Commercial
- Align the LCCI Commercial Services culture strategy and objectives to the Team Lilly framework, including wellbeing, engagement, recognition, diversity and inclusion, and employee experience.
Operational Management
- Deeply integrated within LCCI Commercial teams and assess issues that serve as barriers to a team or organization operating at maximum effectiveness.
- Drive operational excellence by taking on critical initiatives related to driving business priorities and accountability, and developing a strong leadership team:Project management - Overseeing large cross-functional organization-wide projects or initiatives; bring together multiple stakeholders and help drive decisions.
- Meeting preparation- Managing the meeting cadence for leadership team, ensuring materials are sent in advance, time is well spent, objectives and follow-up are achieved; planning and leading functional retreats and other special events.
- Drive the LCCI Commercial People agenda through assist in identifying expertise needed and hiring of key personnel: Incorporating skill/experiences need in job descriptions
Cross-functional Relationship Building
- Build connections with commercial leadership team and others across the organization to influence outcomes, enable team success and foster long-term partnerships that are critical to organizational success.
- Promote shared consciousness and information flow: Acting as a key enabler to ensure the right stakeholders included at the right time and equipped with the right information for decision making
Lead/Influence/Partner

Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- Post graduate degree (MBA/MSc/MPharm) or adequate professional experience to meet above deliverables
- Min 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with experience in commercial
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated success in business transformation
- Strong understanding of affiliate business environment
- Demonstrated leadership skills and effectiveness in the areas of influence, team leadership, articulating and taking a position, negotiation, and conflict resolution
- Effective team building capabilities
