Office-based in Bangalore, India
We are looking for a fresh graduate to join our international IT team as a full-time (Junior) IT Systems Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic, knowledgable, and passionate about all things IT. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our IT infrastructure, providing daily technical support for Asia Pacific region, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot desktop computer systems (primarily MS Windows 10/11) and peripheral equipment problems
- Perform IT support operations, including receiving and tracking users’ requests, assigning priority and responsible persons, resolving requests and users’ notification
- Install, configure, maintain and upgrade of desktop computer systems (primarily MS Windows 10/11) and peripherals (e.g. network cards, printers, modems, mice, add-in boards, copiers, etc.)
- Assist in performing data backups, data restores, disaster recovery, and storage management
- Perform desktop computer systems inventories (hardware and software)
- Assist with technical research on systems upgrades to determine feasibility, cost, time required, and compatibility with current systems
- Document systems problems and resolutions for future reference
Qualifications
- Recent graduate with a completed degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of English (both written and spoken) to work in an international team
- Completed internships and/or obtained relevant certifications (preferred)
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve common hardware and software problems quickly and effectively
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic systems administration tools and processes
- Proficiency in current Microsoft products and solutions including MS Windows 10/11 and Office suite
- Experience with host/network security
- Operator experience in managing Cisco switches and wireless access points
- Ability to identify tasks that require automation and automate them
- Passionate about IT and eager to learn and grow
