The Jira, Confluence admin role is
responsible for managing, maintaining, and enhancing the Atlassian suite of
products having min 3 years of relevant experience, including Jira, Confluence,
Git, BitBucket, Bamboo, and other related tools. The role will collaborate with
various teams to provide technical support, configuration, customization,
integration, and automation solutions for the Atlassian products. The role will
also ensure the security, availability, performance, and scalability of the Atlassian
environment.
Some of the key responsibilities of the
Jira, Confluence admin role are:
- Administer, upgrade, and troubleshoot the
Atlassian products and plugins
- Configure and manage users, groups,
permissions, workflows, schemes, fields, screens, and notifications in Jira and
Confluence
- Develop and implement best practices,
standards, and guidelines for the Atlassian products
- Provide end-user training and
documentation for the Atlassian products
- Monitor and optimize the performance,
reliability, and backup of the Atlassian products
- Implement and maintain integrations
between the Atlassian products and other tools, such as Azure, AWS, Jenkins,
ANT, Maven, etc.
- Automate and streamline processes using
scripts, APIs, webhooks, etc.
- Evaluate and recommend new features,
plugins, and enhancements for the Atlassian products
- Integration with AD for SSO
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in administration tools such
as JIRA Core, Jira Service Desk, Jira Agile, Confluence, Crowd, BitBucket,
Bamboo, Jenkins, ANT, and Maven
- Experience with cloud platforms such as
Azure, AWS, or Atlassian SaaS.
- Experience with databases such as MS SQL
Server, Oracle, MySQL, Postgres
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as
Groovy, Python, Shell, etc.
- Excellent communication, collaboration,
and problem-solving skills
- Certification in Atlassian products is a
plus
