Morgan Stanley JAVA Software Engineer - Vice President - IST (Institutional Securities Technology) Profile Description Were seeking someone to join our team as (Title) Vice President - This role provides an exciting opportunity to motivated candidates to work in a fast-paced environment on varied projects from short term tactical enhancements to strategic initiatives that impact multiple firm systems and business groups. Candidates will design and develop using latest technology architectures & API model. Candidates will be involved in all phases of SDLC such as requirements gathering, designing, developing, testing and supporting the application in production. Candidates will also be involved with ongoing technology support for the business users and queries. Candidate will be located in Bengaluru working with a global technology team and business users in Prime Brokerage. IST (Institutional Securities Technology) Institutional Securities Technology (IST) develops and oversees the overall technology strategy and bespoke technology solutions to drive and enable the institutional businesses and enterprise-wide functions. ISTs clients include Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, Investment Banking, Research, Prime Brokerage and Global Capital Markets. Prime Brokerage Tech Provides platform to those who borrow cash and securities from the Firm to execute their investment strategies. Some of our solutions are also leveraged by other businesses within the Firms Institutional Securities Group (ISG). Technical Specialist This is a Vice President position within our Technical Specialist function, which is responsible for providing extensive subject matter expertise and reinforcing the ability of business and technology audit teams to appropriately assess risk and determine and execute coverage.
