About the team:

Event Broker is an Event Delivery Infrastructure (EDI) which enables an event-driven architecture, decoupling application components while enabling integration between internal application components.  It comprises a suite of applications and technology stacks that provide publish/subscribe messaging among FIS application components and FIS client systems.   It provides an avenue for standardized data structures and supported data formats.  It also provides mechanism for shared secure routing and transport. It allows applications systems and platforms to leverage a consistent set of event-driven architecture capabilities.

What you will be doing:

• Provides technical support activities for a software production processing environment
• Installs, maintains and supports application/source code and/or its components and subsystems including third party software.
• Detects, diagnoses and reports related problems
• Analyzes and resolves incidents, problems or known errors related to failures in application and supporting software components

What you bring:

• Candidate should have 3 to 6 years’ experience in Java Unix Production support
• Flexible to work in shifts
• Good Knowledge in Unix commands and Unix Shell Scripting & Good Knowledge in web server/app server architecture
• Application Servers Web Server Apache Tomcat, Tools Eclipse, Putty, Splunk, Kibana

Added Bonus if you have:

• Knowledge of FIS’ products and services
• Knowledge of the business goals, objectives and business operations for the appropriate FIS organization
• Knowledge of financial services industry
• Knowledge on Kafka.
