Role Summary &Role Description:
As a Java and Systems Lead, you will guide a team of Java and Linux Systems Engineers to deliver solutions to address critical business problems. The focal areas include enhancing existing internal systems, making tooling and mechanismsto enable public cloud migration. You will work across multiple functional areas, break-down silos, think big, and deliver results. You should be able to operate under some ambiguity and be able drive newprojectsfor the organization. You will be a true leader who can provide the support and mentorship to upskill your team and advance their personal development. As a Java and Systems Lead,you’ll also be tasked with supporting existing production applications and building new ones.
We expect the right candidate to have 20+ years of experience in Linux/Unix Systems, Software engineering, SDLC Best Practices, Quality Assurance, and Research and Development. Must have hands-on experience with modern Distributed Applications, Virtualization, Cloud Architecture, High Availability, Security, and Networking. The candidate must have good documentation and communication skills.
What you will be responsible for: -
Ideate, propose, design, code, validate,and deliver Solutions in the Private/Public Cloud environment.
Must be familiar with writing proposals for informed decision making
Root cause incidents and facilitate implementing the learnings though feature enhancements.
Must contribute to framework and automation code in Java and Bash and be able to review before code approvals.
Create documentation and test plans to perform integration and scale out tests.
Must be familiar with logging and alerting.
Participate in the change management and production coverage as needed
Ability to adapt to new technology, concept, approaches, and environment faster
Must have the ability to dive-deep and solve problems.
Must be curious and show commitment to customer outcomes.

Core/Must have skills:
Core Development – Core Java, Linux/Unix, Bash Scripting, Python, Ruby (nice to have)
Operating Systems – Linux (RHEL, SLES, or CentOS)
Virtualization – VMware, KVM, or Public Cloud such as AWS, or Azure
Coding, Code reviews, GIT, SDLC
CI/CD Tools – Jenkins, Harness
Leadership skills such as ownership, stakeholder communication, deliver results
Good to have skills:
Troubleshooting skills, Re-Engineering solutions, Migrations
Work Schedule:
Working Model (Hybrid) -4 days' Work from Office
Schedule – (3:00 pm to 12:00 am) or (2:00 pm to 11:00 pm) (IST)
Location –Bangalore only, outstation candidates must be willing to relocate on Day 1.
