Job Description

We are looking for a Java Spring Boot Microservices Developer with over 5 years of experience in building scalable microservices. As a member of our development team, you will be responsible for creating, deploying, and maintaining robust applications in a cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java Spring Boot microservices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues, performing code reviews and maintaining code repositories.
• Configure and implement logging and monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus).
• Maintain version control practices using Git and GitLab.
• Work with various databases, ensuring efficient data handling using NoSQL and MySQL.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience:Minimum 5+ years of experience in software development, specifically in building microservices using Java Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of Core Java (Collections, Threads, Regular Expressions, Exception Handling).
  • Familiarity with Angular is a plus.
  • Proficient in using Git and GitLab.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases and MySQL.
  • Knowledge of Kafka is desirable.
  • Familiarity with GraphQL is a plus.
  • Understanding of API gateways (e.g., Apigee) is advantageous.
  • Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices and automated deployment processes.
  • Understanding of large-scale software architecture and distributed systems.
  • Experience with operational excellence practices in software quality.
  • Proficient in Agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of security practices in API design and integration is essential.
