Overview:Synechron is seeking a skilled Java Developer responsible for building and maintaining Java applications, including complex back-end services, both monolithic and cloud-based microservices. The primary responsibility of this role is to design and develop these applications while coordinating with various teams working on different layers of the infrastructure. A strong commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential.
Software Requirements:Overall Responsibilities:- Participate in the design and creation of scalable software solutions.
- Write clean, functional, and efficient code on the back end.
- Test and fix bugs or other coding issues to ensure application stability.
- Design user interactions on websites and applications.
- Develop servers and databases to support website functionality.
Category-wise Technical Skills:
Primary Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Java and the Spring Framework.
- Design, develop, and manage Kafka-based data pipelines.
- Experience in developing, testing, and maintaining Java applications, including both monolithic and microservices architectures.
- Build, deploy, share, and maintain enterprise-grade data, analytics, and AI solutions using Databricks.
- Ability to create technical designs from functional specifications with strong analysis, design, and implementation experience.
Secondary Skills:
- Ability to work effectively with multiple teams, showcasing strong leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with project managers, product owners, and team members.
Experience:- Minimum of 17 years of experience in software development with a focus on Java technologies.
- Proven experience in developing scalable applications using microservices and monolithic architectures.
- Day-to-Day Activities:
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement scalable software solutions.
- Write and maintain high-quality, clean code for back-end services.
- Participate actively in code reviews and mentoring junior developers.
- Work on debugging and resolving software issues as they arise.
- Engage in Agile ceremonies and contribute to project planning and retrospective meetings.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance development practices.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in Java development or cloud technologies are a plus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and collaborate effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Proactive attitude with a focus on meeting deadlines.

- Knowledge of basic Unix commands.
