Software Requirements:

• In-depth experience with Java and Spring Batch framework.
• Proven track record of successful system modernization projects.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for building real-time data pipelines and streaming apps.
• Working knowledge of Python programming language.
• Experience with Kubernetes for automating deployment, scaling, and managing containerized applications.

Overall Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and modernization of complex software systems using Java and Spring Batch.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Kafka streams and ensure real-time data processing.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in coding, testing, and maintenance to improve quality and efficiency.
• Spearhead initiatives to migrate legacy systems to modern, scalable platforms.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers.

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in Java programming and the Spring Batch framework.
• Experience with system architecture design, particularly with system modernization.
• Proficiency with message brokers like Apache Kafka.
• Practical knowledge of scripting with Python.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, specifically Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Experience:

• A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in software development.
• At least 3 years of experience in system modernization projects.
• Prior experience in leading technical teams through complex projects.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
