How you’ll spend your day
• Design, implement, and manage security solutions to protect the organization's systems and data.
• Maintain and enhance security tools used by the SOC team, and implement new ones as needed.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure system and application configurations.
• Manage security projects, including the implementation of new tools and technologies.
• Stay updated on the latest security threats, trends, and technologies to continuously improve the security posture.
Your experience and qualifications • 5+ years Windows system experience
• 2+ years Linux system experience
• 2+ years of networking (Understanding of networking protocols, knowledge of network architecture and design).
• 2+ years of network security (Understanding of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)).
• 2+ years of experience maintaining cyber security tooling (EDR, AV, Identity based products, etc)
• Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or related field can be an advantage.
