We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will:

• Initializing and setting programme plan and governance for the programme in line with the strategic objectives of the technology
• Working with diverse delivery teams to plan the programme from start to completion including milestones, risk, issues and dependencies
• Overseeing forecasts are line with approved targets, tracking and managing deviations. 
• Standardizing and coordinating practices and processes across all work streams
• Supervising IT work stream leads in line with overall programme governance
• Ensure all programme processes and activities are following established guidelines across the Technology core practices including Portfolio and Programme Management.
• Clear traceability to IT deliverables, cross programme dependencies, regional impacts, managing blockers and risks.
• Keep stakeholders informed of progress across deliverables and financials, clearly articulating items for management attention through Working Groups and Steering Committees
• Prepare material for decision approvals Technology Steering Committee
• Technology updates to the Programme Governance Forums
• Direct management of Programme Delivery Team. Functional oversight of work stream leads
• Planning milestones, risks, issues and dependencies
• Remaining flexible and adaptable in an environment of constantly changing priorities, challenging bureaucracy and demonstrating integrity to the values and strategy of the Group
• Executing at pace and building collaboration across business and Technology while delivering complex change initiatives
• Staying informed of external developments in global regulation and competitor activity and understanding the risks it poses to HSBC
