What are my responsibilities?
- Acting as an owner of business required specific IT, understand business environment, identify objectives, and manage the portfolio of demands, projects and services
- Oversee the implementation, maintenance, optimization of SAP systems and manufacturing related applications
- Ensure manufacturing systems, including SAP are aligned with business processes and objectives.
- Collaborate with SAP consultants and vendors to resolve issues and implement enhancements
- Collaborate with various IT domains to cover the requirements of the factory
- Consolidation of multiple factory units into a single, streamlined operation.
- This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing consolidation activities to ensure minimal disruption to production and operations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures.
- Ensure the reliability and security of IT systems and infrastructure
- Implement and manage security protocols to protect factory data and IT systems.
Knowledge, qualification, and Tech Skills
·Bachelor’s in engg. /IT discipline from reputed institute. Management degree and other certifications would be good to have
·6 to 10 years’ experience in IT (preferably in manufacturing processes)
·Strong manufacturing Business Process knowledge with Sound ERP
- Extensive experience with SAP systems SAP PP/SD/MM
- Familiarity with Manufacturing industry-specific software and technologies.
- Proven experience in IT management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles.
- Analytical and strategic thinking.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong experience in SAP PP/MM
- This role is crucial for ensuring that the factory’s IT systems are efficient, secure, and aligned with the overall business objectives.
