Key Responsibilities & Experience


  • Installs team is responsible for set-up /change/termination  of new and existing clients on the various internal systems based on instructions received from the regional new business teams
  • The incumbent would  be responsible for ensuring set-up of  SSgA funds, client accounts including corresponding benchmarks on the performance system for performance calculations and reporting.
  • Good knowledge of benchmarks, submitting requests to appropriate teams for sourcing/building benchmarks on the performance systems
  • Good understanding of performance reporting and able to interpret client requirements in an objective manner. Working closely with different technical teams to ensure the relevant accounts are appropriately configured to produce the desired reporting outcomes
  • Should be well versed in different technical aspects and understand the interlinkages between different upstream and downstream systems
  • Address complex queries from internal teams and stakeholders and provide satisfactory resolution
  • Ensure adherence to controls and operating procedures within the team
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and clients, subject matter experts for ensuring requirements are understood accurately and focus on delivery
  • Resolve directly or in partnership with subject matter experts any issues relating to set-ups or escalate in a timely manner to immediate supervisors.
  • Should be able to identify potential issues and take remedial action
  • Participate in projects, UAT testing and process improvement initiatives
  • Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve the process, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer

Desired Skill Sets


  • Knowledge of Investment Management industry
  • Sound understanding of Financial Markets and Instruments
  • Good knowledge of Performance Analysis and Attribution methodologies
  • Prior experience in an implementation role, process automation or client onboarding role preferred
  • Strong spreadsheet skills, experience and working knowledge of SQL is good to have
  • Knowledge of VBA will be an added advantage
  • Extremely detail oriented and strong focus on service delivery
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and must be able to communicate across layers and divisions in an assertive and transparent manner
  • Should possess an excellent solution oriented mindset and critical thinking abilities. Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
  • Project management skills will be an added advantage.
  • Should be able to create effective process documentations
  • Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
  • Good Office 365 Skills (PPT, Power BI, SharePoint)

Qualifications/Certifications


  • Post Graduate, preferably an MBA in Finance or an Analytical Discipline from a reputed institute.
  • FRM/CFA/Financial industry related certification is an added advantage.
  • Fresher/Experienced candidate with 1 - 4 year post-graduation experience in any financial firm involved in investment analysis or new client onboarding activities
  • Experience in Performance Measurement is desirable.
