Department: Flight Physics
Internship Program (Title): Aircraft ground loads tool development
Main responsibilities: The mission of the internship is to support the development of a Ground Reaction Model tool which calculates the loads on the aircraft for maneuvers on ground following CS 25 Large Aeroplanes requirements.
Main activities:
- Ideate on new implementations and methods to incorporate into this Ground Reaction Model
- Addition of features to the ground loads tool
- Improve the method and tool based on feedback
Skills:
Basic knowledge of static structural loads calculation (Must Have)
Experience in mathematical modelling of physical systems (Must Have)
Experience in Python Coding (Must Have)
Understanding of aircraft landing gear (Optional)
Experience with Git version control (Optional)
Specialization/Stream: Engineering background in Staticstructural analysis, structural dynamics and good coding experience in Python
Duration of Internship: 6 months
