Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Engineers to join our team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with a strong foundation in software development who are eager to kickstart their careers in a collaborative and innovative environment.

As a Trainee Engineer, you will work closely with experienced professionals to develop, troubleshoot, and optimize applications using cutting-edge technologies. You will be working on features related to space utilization and smart building health, specifically focusing on metrics such as air quality, disease risk, and building compliance.You will be a part of an Agile team and contribute to building robust, scalable, and high-performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality features.
• Participate in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code in C#, Angular, and Postgres SQL and other languages.
• Assist in developing and enhancing the space utilization feature, focusing on optimizing physical environments for better functionality and efficiency.
• Work on building health-related features such as calculating and tracking air quality, infectious disease risk, compliance, and overall building health metrics.
• Ensure the integration of real-time data related to building health and utilization into the platform.
• Contribute to testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of features, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
• Participate in Agile and SAFe ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and best practices.
• Apply strong problem-solving skills to deliver innovative and effective solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies related to smart buildings, IoT, and health metrics.
• Engage with team members and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and progress on assigned tasks.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, BE, B. Tech, MCA, or a related field with some coursework around Data Science and Machine Learning.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Knowledge of C#, Angular, and Postgres SQL, JQuery, Java script
• Familiarity with Agile and SAFe frameworks is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of cloud computing, IoT, and smart building technologies is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a simple and understandable manner.
• Positive attitude, strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive and dynamic approach.
• A passion for learning and growing in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
