We are looking for Installation Engineer Flexible OCS & Rigid OCS, 25 KV OHE
You’ll make a difference by
- Coordination with Project Manager and Site Manager, contractors, customer representatives at site, EHSMip and Safety officers deputed at site.
- Ensuring safe working of all Siemens project team members and contractor’s workers at site & power and traffic blocks.
- Responsible for material loading/unloading at site.
- Follow up with suppliers, logistics and storekeeper for material availability at site.
- Responsible for installation activities within time, budget, quality and safety framework.
- Ensuring budget of work is maintained while maintaining quality and safety standards as per customer and Siemens.
- Close ordination with Site Manager and Project Manager: Work in close coordination and as per instructions provided time to time during the tenure of the project.
- Close coordination with customer representatives at site: Represents Siemens at site and participate in all meetings, site inspections, etc along with customer representatives, interface partners, contractors, statutory bodies as instructed by Project Manager and Site Manager.
- Close coordination with contractors: To monitor, supervise and report contractor’s installation works as per instruction of Project Manager, Site Manager and as per laid down process of Method Statements, Good for Construction drawings, EHS plan and policies and timeline defined for the work.
- Close coordination with EHS officer, Quality officer at site: Close coordination with EHS officer and Quality officer at site. To take part in EHS meetings of customer and monthly safety committee meetings. To take part in safety talk, TBT and LMRA.
- Dimensions / KPls, Installation Works of ROCS & FOCS (25KV OHE), Supervision of Contractor’s work, time, EHS & Quality, Coordination with Site Manager

Desired Skills:
- You have Bachelors degree or Diploma in electrical engineering.
- 3-5 years (5-7 years for Diploma) of experience in Site Management for FOCS and ROCS work in metros, Indian Railways.
- Fluent in English, Additions / Comments: flexible to situations and mobile.
- Knowledge of OHE Layout Plan (LOP), Cross Section Details (CSDs) & Structure Erection Drawings (SEDs), General Power Supply (GPS) diagrams, Sectioning and Wiring diagrams
- Proficient in working on AutoCAD.
- Expertise in using MS Tools like MS Excel, MS word, MS Outlook and PowerPoint.
