We are looking for Industrial Process Engineer

Job
Summary:
- Carries
out the preparation and maintenance of Industrial documents such as Assembly
Macro/Micro Process, DFM/A Analysis, Jigs & Tools, Tasks Sequence, Line
balancing, Work Instructions, In-process Kanban’s, Inspection Check sheets,
PFMEAs, Control plans, Lifting plans, Packaging instructions etc. to meet the
required Takt for Production.
- Determines
and updates the Station-wise Work content / Assembly times / Resource loading
etc. using the MTM methodology as well as bottlenecks monitoring to increase
the Productivity and Quality.
- Carries
out regular CFT meetings to design and update the Plant Layout of Production
equipment, Material flow and Work areas in order to obtain the highest
efficiency of Man, Material, Machines and Manpower.
- Supports
the development of New production processes during the procurement and
installation phases by providing direct support to suppliers of Plant &
Machinery and/or Customer equipment.
- Carries
out Ergonomic analysis in the work area, related corrective and improvement
actions thus ensuring adequate Ergonomic conditions for the Production area
personnel.
- Ensures
that the Warehouse is set-up to utilize space efficiently including Material
packaging, Kitting (Purchasing & line feeding), Stacking, Shop floor
movement and related improvements utilizing the Lean methodologies.
- Defines
Capacity planning for Production lines in order to analyze and determine the
Production staffing requirements and Production schedules.
- Awareness
of DIN/EN standards applicable for Special Processes like Crimping, Gluing,
Torquing etc. and ensures qualification of Manufacturing blue collars as a
pre-requisite for Production.
- Maintains
SAP ERP system during and after the Production process and/or Product changes
(Bill of Material - MBOM/PBOM, Material Master, Routings, Production orders,
Work centers, Packaging instructions etc.).
- Participates
in CCB (Change and Configuration Board) to validate Engineering / Procurement /
Supplier Quality / Process changes etc. and defines date or rank of application
in line with Design-to-Cost, Material coverage etc.
- Manages
and implements Engineering changes through a close coordination of activities
with the Production team involved for the effective implementation of each
Engineering change and FAR / FAI.
- Ensures
the correct application of methodologies such as SMED, Value Stream Mapping,
Problem-solving techniques (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone diagram, CAPA etc.) and 5S +
Safety in the Production area.
- Plans
and implements Continuous Improvement system throughout the Production
processes by identifying the areas of opportunity across the Value chain in
line with the best EHS practices.
- Maintains
Professional and Technical knowledge by attending educational
seminars/workshops and benchmarking state-of-the-art Industry practices.
- Plans
& organizes Trainings of Manufacturing team for Industrialization, New
production processes etc.
- Supports
in the Recruitment, Selection, On-boarding, Training and Mentoring of Siemens
employees.
Desired Skills:
- Graduate
in Industrial Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
or related field required.
- Should
have at least 3-6 years’ experience in the Industrial engineering/ Process
Planning. Experience in Industrial engineering or process Planning of rolling
stock or experience in Wire harness designing & crimping process is
preferred.
- Ability
to read and interpret precision technical plans, standards, blueprints,
layouts, drawings, 2D/3D models, cabling, and wiring diagrams.
- Proficient
in carrying out Value stream mapping and Line balancing in line with the
current and future Takt requirement.
- Advanced
knowledge of work-measurement techniques like MOST, machines, jigs, fixtures,
hand tools, their designs, uses, repair and maintenance is preferred.
- Well-versed
in working with the Microsoft office suite, AutoCAD, SAP ERP for Bill of
Material (BOM), Routings, Configuration follow-up and administrative
applications.
- A
self-motivator with a results-driven approach having effective technical and
inter-personal skills.
- Should
be proficient in English and Hindi. Fluency in Gujarati is an added benefit.
