Mission Statement
  • Project Engineering focuses on designing, communicating, and implementing an operational plan for completing an engineering-based project including Preparing designs, project controls and specifications, schedules, cost estimates, production, transportation, installation, testing and/or commissioning of new infrastructure, facilities, equipment, etc.


  • Monitoring progress and performance against the project plan; taking action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays. Identifying, developing, and gathering the resources necessary to complete the project.


  • May include preparing engineering standards, designs and work specifications; developing project schedules, budgets and forecasts; and selecting materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors.


  • A Team Leader (M2) supervises professional level employees (typically entry or experienced level) and may also supervise some para-professional employees.


  • Responsibilities typically include Setting goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results.


  • Problems faced may be difficult but typically are not complex.


  • Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers, and stakeholders.


Your Responsibilities
  • Define cycle time and analysis of the working phases of production processes. Sharing of updated cycle time data with internal teams.


  • Define or realign the sequence of a new and existing production process to achieve the production targets.


  • Developing a standard workflow & proper production layout for new and existing products while considering safety and efficiency.


  • Prepares technical documentation regarding cycle times and standard work instruction for related method and procedures for different type of products.


  • Design and implement optimal station layouts that support the operator, define proper workplaces, material handling and tools.


  • Create training modules for improving the qualification of production team during implementation of new technologies, processes or procedures.


  • Evaluate and implement new process technologies to improve human and machine productivity, quality and cost reduction by optimizing the production processes.


  • Lead product transfer initiatives into the production line, define technology, tools and processes that must be followed by the production team.


  • Take part or support teams to analyze, control & improve the quality of the production output.


  • Initiate and coordinate the activities related to the implementation of the company's investment program.


  • Prepare requests for quotes for suppliers for the reconstruction and modernization of machinery and equipment.

Your Background
  • BE/BTech in Electrical / Mechanical/ Industrial/Production engineering.
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in manufacturing industry (Preferably involving line manufacturing).
  • Lean six sigma green belt mandatory.
  • At least 3 years of experience in similar role. Experience in CAD programs required. Working knowledge of SAP ERP preferred.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
