Key Accountabilities


The purpose of this role is to assist with the APAC Sourcing data analysis and reporting processes, assistance in preparation of contracts and to contribute to effective supply chain risk management (SCRM). This includes the input, analysis and collation of audit results and vendor qualification documents, uploading of contracts and vendor’s documents and management of vendor in the SCRM software application, and providing support to the Global Strategic Sourcing team where required.


  • Work closely with Regional Procurement Manager and analysts in Mumbai to ensure the proactive and secure management of procurement data, contracts and other documentation in the SCRM software application.
  • Preparation of monthly KPI, tracking savings, vendors spend and other reports where required
  • Assist to provide analytics support – graph / analysis on reports
  • Updating of all relevant maintenance of vendor’s documentation on the SCRM system, including tariffs, contracts, service level agreements, codes of conduct, audit & compliance reports and licences/certification.
  • Archiving of all expired vendor information.
  • Point of contact for Procurement with the Master Data team in India for ad-hoc reporting requirements.
  • Proactive monitoring of data within the SCRM application to avoid conflicts with master data and other ISS applications.
  • Provide the necessary support to Regional Procurement Managers and other stakeholders in the business.
  • Assist in collection of vendor documents and ensure documents are uploaded and updated in timely manner
  • Ensure timely audits of vendors and sub-agents, logging of results and closing out of applicable actions.

      HSSE - Health, Safety, Security and Risk (Mandatory Requirements)


  • Assessing HSSE risk and implementing risk controls within own area of responsibility.
  • Reporting all accidents, incidents and near misses whether the persons are injured or not.
  • Taking action within area of accountability to ensure the HSSE of both the job holder and other persons who may be affected by acts carried out or failed to be carried out by the job holder while at work.
  • Ensuring full compliance with the ISS HSSE Management System.

 The post holder will carry out any other duties within the scope and purpose of the job as requested by the Line Manager and ensure full utilization of all ISS systems according to Standard Operating Procedures.

·         Previous experience in a procurement finance or business intelligence role


·         Advanced MS Excel skills


·         Strong numeracy, analytical and problem-solving skills


·         Excellent communication and presentation skills


·         Strong values and knowledge with regard to ethics and compliance.


·         Ability to communicate on all levels, influential skills; relationship builder to internal and external stakeholders.


·         Experience of vendor auditing and compliance


·         Able to work independently as well as being a proactive team member


·         Excellent written and spoken English


·         Hands-on and can-do spirit 


Desirable


·         Ability to speak other languages would be an advantage. Ex: Chinese / Japanese / Korean


·         Experience in large scale, complex, global service organization


·         Extensive experience in or exposure to the maritime industry


·         Educated to degree or equivalent level


·         CIPS (or equivalent) procurement qualification


Essential


·         Eligibility to work in the India


·         Ability to travel to UK and worldwide


·         Applicants must be currently based in Mumbai as no relocation is offered
