We are seeking an experienced and passionate leader to partner with the organization’s leadership and People & Culture (P&C) team as the catalyst for the deployment of the One Sanofi People Strategy for the company. The incumbent will contribute to the achievement of the company's short- and long-term goals by providing P&C strategic leadership and support (talent management, performance, organization, culture, etc) whilst ensuring alignment to Sanofi’s Global Business Strategy as well as the Play to Win culture.
Main responsibilities:
You will be a member of the South East Asia and India MCO People & Culture Leadership Team; you will be expected to work in close partnership with Country business leaders & P&C team and related People Business Partners.
You will be the Strategic partner to business leaders, identifying and advocating for business needs using data insights. In this role you enable transformation, consult and coach business leaders on effective people and talent management.
You will cover different functions (1)within your country including Sales & Marketing Vaccines and Pharma, MCO Country Lead Functions (trade, PA, Communication & Market Access) & Medical Vaccines and Pharma.
Coach and advise country leadership to shape and enable the people agenda and business strategy, by guiding them on strategic planning activities.
Anticipate and identify business needs and challenges on countrylevel.
Contribute to global strategic activities, such as workforce and succession planning, talent and leadership development, culture, D&I by providing market & countryview and context.
Collaborate with COEs to shape and if requiredtailor global solutions and best practice solutions by providing country business context and ensure that business needs are met.
Talent Acquisition – Provide local input to understand and shape requirements for respective workforce segment and partner with TA teams for hiring of L4+ talent (including select L3 roles) for respective Country GBUs
Talent Management* – Support activation of Country, market and GBU talent priorities in alignment with the North Star Talent Strategy. Know Accelerate and selected Advance talents for country GBUs. Build manager capability in assessing potential and strengthening succession of country BUs Leadership pipeline. Advise leaders and employees on career development and talent activities. (approx. time spent on Talent is 30-40%)
Insights – Advise business based on data and insights and leverage local people insights and analytics for strategic P&C agenda within respective area of responsibility and to provide voice of the customer.
Organisation Design and Effectiveness - Coordinate and manage business and organization changes in country (e.g., mergers, divestiture, NBM) in conjunction with other People Business Partners at country, market level and OC&T
Culture and DEI – Promote Sanofi DEI and culture by driving programs and initiatives to increase engagement within respectivecountry.
Employee Relations - Advise on high-profile / severe cases and act as escalation point for high-profile cases in respective country.
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of HR experience, with preferably multi country experience/ exposure (GIG, Projects, Assignment …)
- Great leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization & ability to represent P&C externally.
- Proven partnering skills across different layers of the organisation and strong solutions orientation for business support.
- Proven ability to collaborate and influence across matrix lines.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Fluent in English.
- Role model of PtW behaviors.
