We have an exciting opportunity for a Master Data Manager in ourteam in Chennai. As a Master Data Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and execution of master
data management processes. This role will lead the data management team, develop strategies for data quality improvement, and ensure compliance with data governance policies, and procedures across multiple systems and data sources.
Key Accountabilities
• Develop and implement master data management strategies aligned with the Kyriba Master Data Cleansing Process.
• Lead and mentor a team of data analysts in executing data extraction, cleansing, enrichment, and validation processes across various systems.
• Manage the implementation of data cleansing and enrichment procedures across the organization.
• Establish and maintain data validation protocols and quality assurance measures,
including the use of third-party validation tools for bank data.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align MDM initiatives with business objectives.
• Oversee data loading processes into our Middleware and other relevant systems.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators for data quality and MDM effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies, including enforcing disciplinary actions
for data handling violations.
• Present MDM progress and insights to executive leadership
• Coordinate with local finance teams for data verification and access to banking portals.
• Manage the creation and maintenance of a centralized repository for supporting evidence in SharePoint.
• Ensure proper documentation of all data management processes and procedures.
Essential: (Knowledge, Experience & Skills)
• Bachelor's degree
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to present complex data
concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in creating comprehensive reports and dashboards for data quality monitoring.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Experience in implementing large-scale data cleansing and migration projects.
• Intermediate Excel skills, including expertise in VLOOKUPs, formulas, and data manipulation techniques.
Desirable: Not mandatory but good to have
• Experience in the logistics/shipping industry.
• Certification in data management or governance (e.g., CDMP, DGQP).
• Experience with SQL and database management systems
