We have an exciting opportunity for a Executive Documentation in our Documentation team. You will be responsible for Issuing DO/BL. Verify the Bill of Lading prior release of Delivery order. Verify the Draft Bill of Lading with Export doc’s prior release of Original B/L and ensure all relevant charges any anomalies noticed to be highlighted to Principal Customer Service team.
What you’ll do:
· Ensure required information is available to issue the delivery order & export Bills of Lading
· Follow ISS import & Export Check list
· Attend to customer enquiries regarding freight / Demurrage / Shipment status
· Tally Charges / Cheques collected and hand over to account / banker.
· Keep on record customer complains / compliments and our response to customers.
· Ensure Freight Information System / SAP invoicing updated in the system upon collection of charge / prior release of Delivery Order. Communicate and co-ordinate with Principal CS team for further clarifications / insufficient information, amendments etc.
· Accept payment and handles receipt, Review & Monitoring of customer account in SAP, to ensure no outstanding against past payments. Post collections entry in SAP. Deposit Cheque/DD/Cash in Principal’s account. Forward daily collection report to Principals
· Ensure strict compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental procedures in accordance with ISS Quality Management System and ISS Health and Safety Environment & HSSE Policies and procedures to deliver highest quality services.
Who you are:
· Good track record in successfully handling releasing DO/BL documents
· 2-3 years of experience in Port operations, ICD counter
· Proven ability to manage seamless documentation /operation & reporting transparency
· Experience in timely data reporting through agreed time lines
· Competent user of full Microsoft Office package including Word, Excel, and Outlook
· Experience of office management and interfacing with external service providers
