Independent Malayalam Moderator - Powai, Mumbai, India (Onsite)

Work Location: Onsite in Powai, Mumbai, India

Workload: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Engagement Model: Freelance / Independent Contractor

Project Duration: approx. 2.5 - 3 weeks

We are seeking motivated Onsite Moderators to join our team in Powai, Mumbai, India. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative project to improve Artificial Intelligence technology.

Work Summary
As a Content Moderator, your primary responsibility will be welcoming participants to our data collection project and leading them through the data collection session, ensuring that the audio recordings adhere to the project guidelines.

Another major task will be to upload the data and convey session details to the project team. Your collaboration on this project will contribute towards our efforts to improve our client’s speech recognition system.

Work Responsibilities

• Understanding project provided documentation to assist participants

• Interacting with participant(s) and leading them through the data collection session

• Acknowledging and resolving participants’ issues and escalating unsolved issues

• Capturing data for the assigned project aiming to reach the targeted daily goal

• Conveying session details to the Project Manager and Production team

• Communicating and coordinating with project team

• Interacting with various hardware & software

Qualifications

• Be fluent in both Malayalam and English

• Be Proficient at using a Mac, iPhone, and comfortable working with Terminal in macOS

• Have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skill

• Be able to create accurate and concise reports

• Have clear communication skills

• Be a Team player

Requirements

• Must have idiomatic fluency in Malayalam

• Must be fluent in English (Higher Conversational/B1-B2)

• Must have technical knowledge and be comfortable with new technologies

• Must have availability for the whole duration of the project (2.5 - 3 weeks from the beginning of the project)

• Must be able to work onsite during local business hours (8:30 am – 5:30 pm)
