Job Description

The purpose of this position is to execute platform projects and guide the team of project managers for execution of GH-BU customer projects as per set guidelines.


Skills and Competency:


* Competent knowledge of BBM process compass, project management tools, hand book
* Competent knowledge of budget/cost control & product costing
* Advance knowledge on product, manufacturing process, system and vehicle level knowledge
* Competent skill level on customer / project centric approach, result oriented and future oriented
* Competent communication skills, networking & crisis management skills


Role and Responsibility:


1. Project Management Process: Oversee project acquisition and progress for seamless transition
from development phase to series release according to PEP process Deploy good practices & lessons learnt during execution & capture new experience for future and ensure executioner of platform projects as per set guidelines


2. Risk Management: Determine crisis at early stages, by identifying and assessing the risk and obtain necessary support for its mitigation


3. Capacity and Budget Management: Create business plan and monitor/control R&D budget for the
respective product area based on product road map Coordinate and support necessary stake holders for IR/CSS recovery


4.People Management:Mentor team members and support to identify individual potential and enhance competency within team


5.System & Process: Ensure audit readiness, following set guidelines to ensure adherence to compliance


6. Customer Management: Administer timely delivery of project outputs to customer and align with customers regularly on project progress



Qualifications

Bachelors degree in engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Automobile)
MBA (desirable)


5+ years of experience in execution of project management
