IN_RBAI_Senior Engineer - Maintenance Shift Leader (SMT)

Bosch Automotive Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. (RBAI) is a 100% subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH . RBAI has consistently added an average of one product every year resulting in a wide range of products comprising – Engine Control Units (ECU) for both 4W and 2W, Body Control Modules (BCM), ECUs for ABS, DC-DC Converters, iTraMS (Intelligent communication control unit) to name a few. Regular:

• Adherence to manufacturing process compliance, legal & safety requirements, Bosch standards and process specifications.
• Responsible for Safety, Equipment down times and Quality.
• Willing to work in all 3 shifts.
• Handle the team of Engineers/Senior Engineers independently in a shift
• Co-ordinating with CFT for day-to-day activities
• Work Continuously for improving Technical Availability and reducing the Breakdown of machines
• Planning and executing PM on time
• Finding training needs among the team and planning the same.
• Planning shift schedules for the team
• Deriving of corrective and preventive actions for machine breakdown
• Should have good analytical skills, converting ability to solve problems on machines & lines.
• Should possess deep problem-solving abilities eg:8D
• Should predict the problems in the machine and take preliminary actions to avoid the breakdown (implementation of Predictive maintenance)
• Should work for controlling the scrap and droppage
• Should work on Continuous improvement
• Responsible for individual target and department target
• Should work in 3 shifts operation and reports to Maintenance Manager
• Should predict the problems in the machine and take preliminary actions to avoid the breakdown (implementation of Predictive maintenance)
• Effective Escalation to suppliers on open points and breakdowns and its closure.
• Ordering and management of Spare parts and follow-up to get the same.
• Effective Escalation to suppliers on open points and breakdowns work towards closing them
• Managing and Allocation of Manpower for regular Activities.

Periodic:

• Review of KPIs and drives the team to achive KPIs
• Arrange trainings to associates to improve MTTR
• Should work for Improving SQCD
• Should periodically review PM & B/D points, and convert them to CBM, Predictive mode. Need to make scientific analysis of failure and make suggestion of monitoring.
• Create QAM, Machine FMEA and review. Change potential points into CBM.
• Implementation and sustenance of TPM, MTBF and MTTR
• Co-ordination with Process owner for improvement activities.
• Establishing Spares monitoring for wear parts
• Planning and replacement of Tooling and Spare parts management
• Implementation of Digital systems in Maintenance like i4.0 solutions, AI/ML Predictive Maintenance, etc.

Diploma in Mechatronics / E&E / Electronics with 7-12Years of exp

   7 - 12 Years of experience in Electronics manufacturing industry with the sound Electrical and Mechanical Trouble shooting skills on Pick and place machines, Milling , Thermo fuse locking and conveyor systems . Process Knowledge in SMT line and Knowledge on other SMT machines is necessary . having knowledge in PLC and I4.0 projects is an advantage.
