Job Description
  • Formulate sales strategies for Channel Partner business to enhance customer satisfaction, penetration, and coverage.
  • Market intelligence and competitor analysis and accordingly analyze the requirement of channel partners across India for Industrial Applications (IA) Factory Automation & Mobile Applications(MA) with focus for Electric Drives & Controls, Assembly Technology, Linear Motion Technology, Industrial Hydraulics, Mobile hydraulics, Large Hydraulic Drives etc.
  • Analyze requirement of new or additional channel partners to enhance reach, evaluate new prospects & appoint new channel partners in line with the Go-to-Market strategy, complying to processes and industry best practices. Execute White Space mapping activities.
  • Design and implement market-oriented pricing policies while maintaining, growing along with profitability targets, incentive policies, business enhancement programs, product promotions and various sales promotion initiatives.
  • Work closely with the sales Account Development Managers (ADMs) and the channel partners for their certification as per Global guidelines (New and renewal processes).
  • Establish, review, imbibe industry best practices for Solution Partner segments, enhancing value stream for target customer segments in India for IH, FA & MA and their performance management, competence enhancements and certifications.
  • Streamline the Point of Sales(POS) data mapping from Channel partners, review data, distill info further as strategic inputs, collaborate with global teams.
  • Analyze, develop and implement strategies for sales growth based on POS data for product launch, marketing campaigns & market reach.
  • Work on Qualitative sales initiatives to improve existing sales processes & enable customer satisfaction.
  • Work on facilitating field services through Channel Partners to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty among customers and partners.
  • Facilitate Digital touch points for partners to enhance partner experience and ease of doing business with “customer as central focus” being core.
  • Experienced in driving “Partner Sales Acceleration” programs to enable partners to grow exponentially.
  • Well versed in partner on-boarding & contracting processes for various portfolios such as distribution, solution, and repair activities.

Qualifications
  • B.E. (Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics) with 8-10 years of relevant experience. MBA (Marketing) is an added advantage.

Additional Information
  • Experience : Direct OEM / End user Sales, Handling Channel Partners (Distributors, system integrators, solution providers) as extended reach to cater Indirect sales.
  • Must have knowledge of Industrial Hydraulics products/ Industrial Automation products.
  • Expertise : Industrial Automation and / or Industrial Hydraulics
