Change the future with us: The In-process quality inspector is responsible for inspecting and verifying the quality of components during fabrication, machining processes. This role ensures that all parts meet the required specifications, standards, and quality guidelines during and after final stage of production at defined quality gate.
Material Inspection: Create measurement programs acc. to the measurement plan for FARO measurement, Conduct detailed inspections of the components based on technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards, Use measuring tools such as FARO arm, calipers, micrometers, gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances, Identify any defects, deviations, or non-conformities in the received materials.
Quality Assurance & Documentation: Maintain inspection records and reports of components, Ensure compliance with the required industry standards, company policies, and customer specifications, Work closely with production team to address any quality issues.
Non-Conformance Handling: Identify and segregate non-conforming materials and report findings to the Quality Supervisor/Engineer, Assist in conducting root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action implementation.
Coordination & Communication: Collaborate with the production teams to ensure the produce right quality product, Provide feedback on quality issues and suggest improvements in product quality.
Equipment Maintenance & Safety Compliance: Ensure proper use and maintenance of inspection tools and equipment, Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized inspection area.
Use your skills to move the world forward: Diploma / ITI with relevant experience in quality inspection.
Experience: 2+ years of experience in component inspection, 3D measurement, preferably in bogie fabrication, heavy fabrication, or automotive manufacturing.
Skills & Knowledge: Proficiency in using measuring instruments for 3D measurement and quality control techniques, Understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T and material specifications, Basic computer skills (MS Office, ERP systems for quality data entry),Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
