Job Title - IB–Divisional Control Office – Central Execution Group


Location- Mumbai, India


Role Description


Divisional Control Office (DCO) team ensures that the division operates with high levels of integrity. DCO is responsible for supporting the business by developing, implementing, and maintaining a risk culture to ensure a strong and sustainable business control environment whilst minimizing risk arising from non-financial risk factors. DCO strategy includes improving the risk management information and strengthening the governance and risk culture.


The Central Execution Group is aligned to IB DCO and will be responsible for taking complete ownership and lifecycle management of new and existing L1 cross-divisional controls including their Design, Execution, Governance and Sr. Management Reporting.

Your key responsibilities


  • Design new controls / enhance existing controls to address known / self-identified gaps.
  • Drive / monitor risk remediation with an eye on “emerging” risk scenarios.
  • Execution of L1 controls and providing adequate governance and management transparency
  • Develops a good understanding of the business and the controls landscape to be able to identify gaps (if any)
  • Liaise with 2LOD on various initiatives including policy framework & developments.
  • Primary accountability for facing all internal and external audits and assurance testing groups.
  • Drive delivery of MIS and analytics of NFR profile and other risk indicators

Your skills and experience


  • Ability to question existing control framework and provide solutions to strengthen controls.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Knowledge related to risk management and banking products, processes and systems preferred.
  • Familiarity with DB organization a plus, but not mandatory
  • Strong project management skills and a proactive team partner
  • Influencing and negotiation skills and stakeholder management expertise
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
