Who we are looking for:
GlobalLink QA provides professional quality verification & assurance to applications in State Street asset services. We’re looking for a candidate with minimum 8-10 years of experience software IT industry with hands-on QA & QA Automation. This role will be responsible to perform functional and automation testing, which including Functional testing, ROI evaluation, automation framework & scripts development, and continuous integration etc. The role is based in Hyderabad, India.
As Hybrid Quality Assurance Engineer you will:
- Analyze product requirements for State Street’s software platforms and designing effective test cases to meet requirements
- Developing System and Integration test plans and Test scenarios for functional testing, integration testing and regression testing based on the system requirements and the high-level design documents
- Take ownership of product modules, QA effort estimation, and performance of required testing for all software modifications
- Work closely with QA /Development/Product team members and other IT teams to ensure quick resolution of reported issues
- Work closely with all stakeholders to identify best practices to deliver efficient test artifacts.
- Write, review and implement test cases for automation.
- Performing integration, functional, regression and E2E testing.
- Provide crisp & clear analysis of issues found during testing with all the RCA to help fix the issues quickly.
- Proven solid communication skills and ability to work effectively with
developers and analysts - Design, develop, execute and maintain automated testing for front end and back end solutions
- Participate in the complete software development life cycle including analysis, design, test execution, test automation and operational rollout Maintain efficient and timely communication between QA, Development and Product teams
- As Hybrid QA engineer should be ready to take up any QA task including both functional and automation Adhere to company procedures for proper execution of compliance, training and regulatory duties
- Proven ability to write, review, and implement test plans and test cases (both manual and automated)
- Demonstrated experience in taking ownership of product modules, QA effort estimations, and performing the required testing for all software modifications;
- Proven ability to document all Test artifacts including Test Cases and Test Plans in the Test Case Management System
- Proven ability using standard UNIX utilities to do testing and debugging issues
- Demonstrated experience with large, complex business applications and distributed systems troubleshooting, debugging, and analysis skills
- Demonstrated experience in understanding the software development lifecycle, especially in Agile
- Demonstrated experience with web services, REST, SOAP, XSLT, XSD, and XML
- Demonstrated experience in SQL/Oracle.
- Demonstrated experience with UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems
- Demonstrated experience with software build and release management processes, such as maintaining QA environments
- Demonstrated experience with automation tools and scripting.
- Experience in strategizing, planning / executing regression tests and exposure to SDLC process.
