Trane is excited to announce an incredible opportunity for a talented professional to join our team as a Human Resources Manager for our Engineering & Technology Centers in India (India ETCs).In this pivotal role, you will play the role of HR business partner supporting senior leaders.As a HR partner, you will collaborate closely with the CoE teams, talent acquisition team, HR solutions team, Talent & Organization Capability (T&OC) team and total rewards team to meet your deliverables.

Where is the work:This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule (3 or more days onsite per week) based out of Chennai.
What you will do:
- HR Partnering:
- Function as a HR partner, providing HR counsel to business leaders and teams; responsible for supporting in execution of HR strategies and programs that support business goals.
- Support multiple business leaders and be the face of HR for Chennai location.
- Be a Coach for business managers, leaders and provide appropriate input.
- Talent Management:
- Lead talent management initiatives including talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, and performance management.
- Partner for key talent development & growth
- Partner with business leaders for achieving talent retention goals through appropriate interventions
- Work with leaders to seamlessly drive PDC (Performance and Development Connections) process
- Employee Relations:
- Act as a trusted advisor to people leaders and employees on a wide range of HR matters, including conflict resolution, performance improvement, and employee engagement.
- Manage employee relations in a fair and consistent manner.
- Hiring:
- Partner with talent acquisition and hiring managers in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding employees; provides tools/resources to new employees on culture, company, processes and systems.
- Change Management:
- Drive and support organizational change initiatives, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
- HR Analytics:
- Prepare periodic HR reports.
- Utilize HR metrics and analytics to enable data driven decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data to drive continuous improvement and business impact.
- Learning and Development:
- Partner with people leaders to identify training needs and partner with the learning & development team to enable execution of programs that enhance employee skills and capabilities.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Total Rewards:
- Collaborate with senior leaders to facilitate informed compensation decisions, analyses, interventions, and insights.
- HR Projects & Org Initiatives:
- Lead & partner on HR projects at both the country and team level.
- Partner with the Org initiative leads to seamlessly execute the initiatives, counsel and provide support for success.
- Culture Steward:
- Serve as a People & Culture advisor, coach, and partner with people leaders to ensure their success.
- Provide support to people leaders on their respective employee engagement initiatives.
- Connect with employees on a regular basis through 1:1s, HR Connect and other communication sessions
What you will bring:
- Experience of 10+ years in HR business partnering, ideally with Global Capability Centers (GCCs).
- A degree in business management, with HR specialization (postgraduate preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- A proactive and innovative mindset for improving processes and solving problems.
- Analytical skills with experience in HR metrics and data analysis.
- Ability to plan and collaborate effectively with various functions and key stakeholders.
- Active engagement in the HR industry and participation in HR forums.
- Understanding of current talent trends and practices.
