Purpose
- We are seeking an experienced HR Systems and Analytics Specialist to take ownership of Workday product management, ensuring its smooth maintenance, development, and continuous enhancement. This role will also serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for HR technology, leveraging data analytics skills and knowledge of Power BI to drive insights and improvements.
- This pivotal role involves supporting data interfaces, enhancing Workday processes, and improving the overall organisational use of the HRIS platform. Candidates must possess an in-depth understanding of HRIS platforms and their impact on an organisation’s application landscape, including dependencies on financial and other business-critical applications. This role offers ample opportunities for growth in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Workday Optimisation:
- Review current Workday usage and identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced utilisation.
- Simplify, standardise, and automate Workday processes to improve efficiency.
- Enhance the employee experience by optimising HRIS-related processes.
Strategic Roadmap and Enhancements:
- Collaborate with functional leads to develop and implement Workday roadmaps aligned with organisational goals.
- Manage change requests, ensuring timely completion and delivery.
Stakeholder Engagement and Support:
- Engage with HR and other teams to understand challenges related to Workday processes and implement solutions.
- Facilitate working groups to drive process changes and improvements.
Workday Release Management:
- Oversee bi-annual Workday releases, planning regression tests, reviewing mandatory/optional features, and coordinating sign-off processes.
Integration and Networking:
- Support the development and delivery of integrations/interfaces between Workday and other systems.
- Network with peer companies to benchmark and enhance Workday ROI.
Partnership and Vendor Management:
- Partner with Workday’s customer success manager to identify and implement capability improvements.
- Manage the Application Management Services provider to ensure timely and effective support.
Subject Matter Expertise in HR Technology:
- Serve as the SME for HR technology, providing guidance and expertise on HR systems and tools.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and solutions in the HR domain, ensuring the organisation leverages cutting-edge tools and practices.
Data Analytics:
- Utilise descriptive, diagnostic, prescriptive, and predictive analytics to provide actionable insights for HR-related decision-making.
- Build comprehensive dashboards using Power BI, focusing on key metrics such as Recruitment, Headcount, Productivity, Training, Compliance, Attrition, Sales Incentive Plans, and Executive Metrics.
Workday Implementation and Change Management:
- Lead and support Workday implementation projects, including the deployment of new modules and system integrations.
- Manage change effectively, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.
Hands-on Workday Administration:
- Perform hands-on administration of the Workday system, ensuring its upkeep and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly to maintain optimal performance.
Additional Responsibilities:
Report Creation for Business as Usual (BAU):
- Generate various reports as needed for daily operations, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
Compliance Reporting:
- Create and maintain reports that meet compliance standards across multiple HR functions.
Global HR Projects:
- Contribute to global rewards and HR systems projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Education and Experience:
Education: Master' Degree
Experience:
- 12+ years of experience in a global organisation.
- Minimum of 7+ years managing HRIS platforms.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Workday Techno-Functional Consultant across various functional areas.
- Proven experience in change management associated with Workday implementation.
- Experience or knowledge of the latest technologies and solutions available in the area of Human Resources.

- Ability to prioritise duties effectively, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines efficiently.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Experience in Workday implementation, deployment of new modules, and system integrations is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience as a Workday administrator, managing system upkeep and maintenance.
Technical Skills:
- Workday HRMS experience is mandatory.
- Familiarity with AI, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Python, SQL, or other relevant tools is advantageous.
