This organization is responsible for developing and implementing business-focused solutions through iterative and collaborative approaches, partnering directly with clients and stakeholders to achieve desired and sustainable outcomes.This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career.The Impact You’ll Make in this RoleAs a HR Solutions Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:Lead and/or participate in the delivery of complex and global change projects in support of business objectivesLeverage strong project management capability by leading diverse HR projects across multiple disciplinesPartner with leaders to execute restructuring plans in alignment with business priorities, portfolio decisions, operating model changes, etc.Provide expertise on strategic workforce planning, including identifying current and anticipated capabilities and aligning the appropriate strategies to address (e.g., internal capability building, external talent acquisition strategies, etc.)Partner with subject matter experts across HR’s Centers of Excellence by developing and implementing strategic prioritiesDesign and redesign HR processes to align to 3M's operating model and new HR structure (potential, performance, promotion, etc.)Create and implement employee engagement initiatives to meet specific or nuanced needs within a Business group or functionYour Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree or higherFive (5) years of Human Resources and/or Project Management experience in a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Experience working on complex projects with change management implicationsExperience partnering with clients to achieve desired objectivesDiverse project management skillsStrong communication skillsExperience working with Agile methodologyExperience with strategic workforce planningExperience with or demonstrated knowledge of change management, including identifying change impacts, creating and implementing mitigation strategies, and measuring change process/successExperience designing / redesigning global HR processes for efficiency.Diverse experience across multiple HR disciplines (plant, business, COEs, etc.) preferredGlobal HR experience preferredBi-lingual proficiency preferredFlexibility with schedule to accommodate US time zone in globalWork location: HybridTravel: May include up to 15% domestic/international Relocation:Not authorizedLearn more about 3M’s creative solutions to the world’s problems at www.3M.com or on Twitter @3M.Please note: your application may not be considered if you do not provide your education and work history, either by: 1) uploading a resume, or 2) entering the information into the application fields directly.3M Global Terms of Use and Privacy StatementCarefully read these Terms of Use before using this website.
