HR Shared Service Partner – Onboarding

Join us as a Human Resource Partner – Shared Services based in Pune, this role will be part of the HR Shared Service team providing services to our colleagues across India and MEA regions.


As a core member of the HR Shared Service, you will be responsible for delivering HR support to the HR community, business managers and employees. Reporting to the Manger – India and MEA, you will provide a high level of support for internal customers, with accurate and timely processing of information for all stakeholders.


Your responsibilities


  • Design, implement, and continually improve the onboarding program, ensuring it aligns with organization goals.
  • Create and update onboarding materials, including guides, presentations, and resources to support new hires as per the company policy.
  • Manage and coordinate Pre-Onboarding and New hire Orientation sessions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires during their onboarding period, addressing questions and concerns.
  • Collect feedback from new hires to assess the effectiveness of the onboarding process and use data to make continuous improvements to onboarding practices and strategies.
  • Ensure all new hire screening medical checks, background checks, forms and compliance requirements are completed and stored in accordance with legal and company standards.
  • Manage employee records, including updating databases with new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status.
  • Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely processing of new hire.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date onboarding records, including offer letters, contracts, and employee forms in HR systems.
  • Execute the HR CORE processes through Workday ensuring that Job Requisition (JR) & Personnel Administration (PA) are accurately updated according to the global processes.
  • Ensuring execution and delivery of HR Queries (SNOW) according to defined SLA with Quality.
  • Assist with internal and external audits related to HR processes, including documentation and employee files.

Your background


  • MBA from a reputed institution
  • At least 6- 8 years of experience in HR Shared Services in a global organization will be advantageous.
  • Experience working with India region onboarding, payroll and benefits administration.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Knowledge of HR systems (Workday, SAP, or equivalent) and new hire processing.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple demands on time and work with cross-functional teams
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong analytical skills
  • A proactive way of working to serve customers with a “can-do” attitude
  • Hands on experience in creating SOP(s), Process Map and FAQ’s
