The Head of Talent & Leadership (T&L) India will be a part of the Global T&O team and will be responsible for key global projects in addition to T&L portfolio of India including the Learning, Talent Acquisition Ecosystem, Leadership Development and strategic pipe-lining and succession management.
Will play an instrumental role in shaping & implementing the talent landscape for Siemens India, driving leadership transformation and instilling cutting-edge leadership practices and promoting exceptional local talent for global roles. The Head of T&L India will serve as the talent and leadership light-house and be a part of the global initiatives/ projects in the T&L function of Siemens AG.
What part will you play?
- Work closely with the Global T&O Team in collaboration with Siemens India CEO, P&O (People & Organization) Country Head and key leaders within the country as well as globally to design and drive initiatives forward and execute on commitments to increase transparency and quality of the talent pipeline
- Manage a focused team of P&O professionals who will work on topics of talent development & pipelining, succession risk management, learning initiatives and talent acquisition
- Building on the strong foundations design and deliver innovative talent agendas across an exciting portfolio of businesses at the leading edge of technology practices with an initial focus on India but with a clear ambition to influence and to drive Siemens' global Talent & Leadership strategy
- Leverage networks internally across different functions and externally with partners and other companies to design inspiring experiences for internal & external talent programs focused on a collective approach of learning and growth
- Strategize and lead the most impactful talent interventions for Siemens India which will include assessments, coaching, individual development planning, talent review, succession planning, development programs and learning
- Design and execute the leadership development framework for the organization for the high potential program and other exclusive tracks for defined target groups
- Be open to challenge the status quo and current thinking and influence through new ideas
- Lead a team of learning partners to craft the future of learning as part of the overall Siemens Learning Ecosystem and My Growth framework which includes evaluating, designing and implementing innovative and engaging approaches to learning
Use your skills to move the world forward
- Strong strategic understanding and spike in either talent management/development, succession planning, learning & development, organization effectiveness and capability building.
- Being a thought leader in Talent & Leadership development with demonstrated pronounced skills in consulting/coaching executives in mature, global organization (stakeholder management) aligned to corporate business strategy at the forefront of cutting-edge trends in talent management, succession planning, assessment techniques and diagnostic tools.
- Demonstrated ability to radically re-think people processes to successfully transform a traditional leadership culture successfully into an empowering, trustful speak up culture of empowerment.
- Strong analytical skills leading to making well defined, data driven decisions and successfully influencing senior leadership team by absorbing complexity and providing clarity, backed up by excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships across all levels of hierarchy and matrix.
- Experience in leading teams in hybrid set ups including managing cultural nuances combined with entrepreneurial leadership skills with a strong track-record of shaping a people agenda and experience in managing transformation and growth.
- Ability to connect and have impact across the globe, and to be a visible and agile communicator.
- Extensive leadership experience in a large, complex multi-national, blue-chip organization, preferably with a significant manufacturing footprint, combined with a good understanding of the cultural differences between people and know how to effectively deal with them to make a difference
- Authentic leadership skills and an intrinsically collaborative approach
