Head of Software Quality Assurance

My client is a leading US based ecommerce organsiation with their state-of-the-art technology center in Chennai. We are seeking an experienced Head of Quality Assurance (QA) with an automation-first mindset to lead a dynamic and high-performing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and managing automated testing strategies, frameworks, and teams across both web and mobile applications. You will drive quality initiatives and process improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver top-tier products.

Role: Head of Software Quality Assurance

Experience- 15+ years

• Minimum of 10 years in software quality assurance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing a team of 20+ engineers.
• Proven experience managing large QA teams working on complex applications across multiple scrum teams.
• Extensive hands-on experience with web and mobile automation scripting languages and tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Cucumber, TestNG, JMeter, BrowserStack).
• Strong expertise in automation framework design, development, and maintenance.
• Experience in load and performance testing and working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket).
• Experience with API testing and security testing is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of eCommerce or B2C/B2B systems is a plus.
