This is a global R&D and Quality Management role hosted in Product Management, responsible for managing the PLM-Projects (Product Lifecycle Management) and the Quality Management for our SINOVA product family. The position is part of Siemens Smart Infrastructure operating company, Electrical Products business unit (SI EP) under IAA PRM PPM. This role is a HQ function, located within the Segment IAA (India, ASEAN and Africa) and is focusing on the managing of development projects, the R&D part of the whole PLM-Process as well as managing the quality of our SINOVA products. The KPIs of this role are the time-to-market and high quality of the assigned development projects and the customer satisfaction in managing the quality of our SINOVA products.
•Leading a team of 5-6 Project and Quality Managers
•Managing development projects internally as well as with external partners
•R&D role throughout the whole product lifecycle
•Managing local certification together with our global Regional Companies
•R&D budget and resource planning
•Defining product aesthetics, look & feel and alignment with global Siemens Industrial Design
•Data management
•Monitoring the quality at customer side of the assigned products
•Managing quality cases in time with strong focus on customer needs
•Drive quality improvements with focus on preventive measures
•Develop mindset for quality of global products at our partners
•Monitor, analyze issues from field & manufacturing process
•Focus on sustainability of products through design & process improvements
Your experience is required
This role is based in Kalwa, where you’ll get the chance to work with teams impacting our business in many countries all over the globe – and the shape of things to come.
A team player with Min 5+ years of experience in handling low voltage switchgear products.
Experience in the area of R&D and/or Quality Management is mandatory.
