The Role: Head of Product Management- Tools

The Location: Hyderabad (Primary)/Gurgaon
 
The Team: 
The Platforms & Tools team is responsible for developing and managing enterprise tools enabling Agile Execution (Azure DevOps), Project Portfolio Management and Reporting (Tableau), for all the S&P Global Divisions. These tools are used across S&P for Portfolio Management capabilities like prioritizing, executing and tracking Portfolios, Agile Workflow Execution to enable Agile delivery and Portfolio & Agile Analytics.

As the Head of Product Management - Tools, you will spearhead the strategic direction and development of cutting-edge platforms and tools, emphasizing adoption and growth while incorporating advanced technologies, including GenAI, to boost productivity and facilitate quicker decision-making. Your role will range from driving innovative product initiatives to enhancing the efficiency of current offerings. Additionally, you will create visions and sustainable strategies in close collaboration with all divisions and functions, making a significant impact on the organization and enhancing customer experience. 


Responsibilities: 
1.    Oversee strategic planning and management of the complete product portfolio.
2.    Define and align the vision, strategy, and roadmap to position the company as a global supplier.
3.    Strategize and present innovative concepts, including strategic proposals and business case analyses, to secure stakeholder buy-in.
4.    Manage strategic partnerships and lead essential contract negotiations.
5.    Represent the company in dealings with key customers, the product outreach, and analysts.
6.    Establish and monitor relevant company KPIs, ensuring effective measures are in place to achieve set objectives.
7.    Lead a product management team, fostering motivation and continuous improvements within the team.
8.    Identify and nurture high-potential talent.
 
What We’re Looking For:
 
Basic Qualifications:

1.    Over 10 years of experience in product management in Portfolio Management/Agile, Service management domains
2.    Hands-on experience with tools like Serena, Outsystems, Microsoft Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Service Now and Comparative Agility with understanding of Azure DevOps Pipelines, Repos and Artifacts.
3.    Leadership experience in an international setting across multiple locations.
4.    Excellent interpersonal skills combined with a strong sense of assertiveness.
5.    Proficient communication skills in both German and English, enabling effective interaction with management, senior executives, employees, and colleagues.
6.    Knowledge about the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
7.    Strong analytical, strategic, and coordination abilities.
8.    A natural leader and entrepreneur whom others are eager to follow.
9.    High motivational skills to effectively manage virtual teams.
10.    Solid understanding of both business and technology.
