Head of Process & QualityBangaloreWeir MineralsHybridThe Head of Process & Quality is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring robust processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and managing technical documentation. Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the delivery of multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, deliverables, and timelines.Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed.Develop and implement process improvement strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness (e.g. SAFe, NPI)Conduct regular process audits and identify areas for improvement.Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.Oversee the QA team to ensure high-quality standards are maintained across all projects.Develop and implement QA policies, procedures, and standards.Conduct regular quality reviews and audits to identify and address issues.Manage the technical writing team to produce clear, concise, and accurate documentation.Ensure all technical documents meet the required standards and are up to date.Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy.Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the delivery, process, QA, and technical writing teams.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.Job Knowledge / Education and QualificationsA degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.A Master's degree in a relevant field is desirable.Certifications such as SAFE (Scale Agile), PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 (Projects IN Controlled Environments).Strong understanding of process improvement techniques and methodologies, such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.Quality Assurance: In-depth knowledge of quality assurance principles, standards, and practices.Proficiency in technical writing, including the ability to produce clear, concise, and accurate documentation.Proven experience in a senior leadership role, managing teams across delivery, process improvement, QA, and technical writing.Demonstrated success in leading and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.Experience in developing and implementing process improvement strategies.Experience in overseeing QA activities and ensuring high-quality standards.Experience in managing technical writing teams and producing high-quality documentation.Founded in 1871, Weir is a world leading engineering business with a purpose to make mining operations smarter, more efficient and sustainable.
