We are having an Career Progession Opportunity Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Finance to oversee the entire finance vertical at our Ahmedabad location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with a particular focus on compliance and strategic initiatives. This role is pivotal in driving financial efficiency and ensuring compliance with industry regulations, while also contributing to the strategic direction of the company.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Oversight:
    • Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
    • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with IND-AS and other regulatory requirements.
    • Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  2. Compliance Management:
    • Ensure adherence to all financial regulations and compliance requirements.
    • Oversee tax compliance, including direct and indirect taxes, ensuring timely and accurate filing of returns.
    • Manage audits (statutory, internal, and tax), addressing auditor queries and ensuring implementation of corrective actions.
  3. Strategic Initiatives:
    • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's goals.
    • Conduct financial analysis and feasibility studies for new business ventures and strategic initiatives.
    • Lead efforts to optimize financial processes and systems, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  4. Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
    • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure smooth financial operations and effective communication.
    • Conduct training sessions to build financial acumen across the organization.
  5. Risk Management:
    • Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
    • Monitor market trends and economic conditions, advising on potential impacts to the business.
  6. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Liaise with external stakeholders including banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
    • Represent the finance function in executive meetings, providing insights and recommendations.
    • Communicate financial performance and strategic initiatives to shareholders and investors.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Educational Background: Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification. MBA in Finance is a plus.
  • Experience: 8-12 years of relevant experience, preferably in the food and beverages or FMCG industry.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of IND-AS and other relevant financial regulations.
    • Proven track record in financial planning, analysis, and strategy.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
