Head of Development

Main Purpose

Head of IT Development, ISC: Responsible for overseeing the ISC software and integrations development team. Ensuring the delivery of high-quality software in-house solutions, that aligns with the global IT objectives and enables the organization to digitize and automate its capabilities.

Key Accountabilities

• Oversee the planning, execution and delivery of in-house software solutions
• Advise the team of developers when they encounter roadblocks or have technical questions
• Ensuring the solutions aligns with the overall IT strategy and meet our customer needs
• Responsible for recruiting, training and managing the software and integrations development team in ISC.
• Forster the Global IT culture in the ISC software and integrations development team
• Establish, maintain and align coding standards to ensure high quality and secure code
• Establish, maintain and align best practices for developing software to ensure high quality software services and products

Knowledge, skills and experience

• The person should have the ability to communicate with other technical departments, IT Business Partners and IT as well as business management
• The person should have an interest in developing peolple both from a personal and professional view
• The person should have high of knowledge within the technical domains of software and integrations development
• The person should have a high interest in the process of developing software development (planning, design, implementation, test and deploy)
• The person should have hands-on experience with software development as well as the agile framework
