Looking for a candidate from Spices or Agri products industry handling Europe, Canada & US Market. (Note: Spices experience is a must)

Designation: International Sales Head.

Location: Mumbai.

Job Description:


  • Lead Spices sales team and ensure achievement of sales related KPIs for the Business. Monitor and ensure sales and execution, improve margin profile, working capital management, credit management and cross functional coordination as required.
  • Relationship management with Key Accounts to ensure share of wallet growth YoY and identify opportunities for strategic initiatives that deepen relationships and anchor longer term partnerships.
  • Guide, mentor and provide strategic direction to the sales team. Provide opportunities to the team to gain exposure and appropriate learning and development opportunities in line with job and market requirements. Roll out and maximize usage of digital tools to monitor customer engagement, improve processes and customer relationship management. Utilize Organization's capabilities to move from product sales to solution sales and build a future ready solutions team in sales.
  • Business case development of strategic growth initiatives such as new products, value added offerings that enhance revenue, margins and deepen Organization's engagement with customer as well as strengthen Organization's presence in the markets it wants to be present in.
  • Commercialize spice blends, scan markets and identify new product concepts and Private Label opportunities for the Spices business. Commercialize new products and enable by driving end-to-end value chain capabilities i.e. procurement, processing, QA/NPD and sales by working closely with cross functional teams.
  • Collaborate with various functions to plan execution and ensure smooth execution. Ensure timely delivery of product to customers with zero avoidable non-conformance.
  • Analyse customer / competitor / market data and do market segmentation by product, geography, customer type. Identify the segments that Organization should be present in and build strategies that address the requirements of each segment. Oversee execution of the strategies in collaboration with other functions.
  • Effective communication with all stakeholders to ensure business objectives are met with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
