Job Title: Head Accountant

Location: Laxmi Narayan Industrial Estate, Udhna, Surat, Gujarat

Salary: ₹35,000 - ₹45,000 per month

Working Hours: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday to Saturday

Company Overview: We are a dynamic company engaged in the import and export of commodities. We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Accountant to lead our accounting team and manage financial operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the accounting team and oversee day-to-day financial operations.
  
• Manage GST reconciliation and ensure timely TDS compliance.
  
• Assist in audits and advance tax compliance.
  
• Prepare and finalize accounts using Tally software.
  
• Handle import-export documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  
• Manage and maintain financial data in Excel sheets.
  
• Provide financial reports and analysis to management as required.
  
• Ensure compliance with all accounting regulations and company policies.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in Excel for data management and reporting.
  
• Basic knowledge of import-export documentation procedures.
  
• Expertise in GST reconciliation, audit assistance, and tax compliance.
  
• Experience in preparing final accounts using Tally software.
  
• Strong leadership skills with prior experience in managing an accounting team.
  
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  
• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  
• Experience in the import-export industry is preferred but not mandatory.
